It’s a New Korero with Kris and Dialogue 22

Former Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament Kris Faafoi has joined us to lead our newest member of our collective, Dialogue 22, specialising in Public and Government Relations consulting.

“We are delighted to have Kris on board, he brings with him a wealth of experience from journalism, communications and serving over a decade as Member of Parliament and 5 years as a Government Minister,” says Greg Partington, Waitapu Group Managing Director.

“This broadens the services the Waitapu Group offers to clients. It strengthens our group offering by adding public relations and government relations to our existing award winning advertising, media and consulting services.

“Kris Faafoi brings his networks and experience to enhance the multi-channel, one voice solution that the Waitapu Group offers to the market.”

Faafoi, who left his role as a Cabinet Minister earlier this year, says he’s excited to be able to take his experience and skills into the private sector to assist clients navigate the worlds of media and Government.

“As Chief Executive of Dialogue22 I’m going back to the craft of storytelling and media management and will also use my networks and experience as a Minister in the Beehive to get clients’ perspectives heard and understood by decision makers,” Kris Faafoi said.

Faafoi says it’s also exciting to have the skills and experience of the wider Waitapu Group companies to offer to clients.

“To begin this venture as part of the Waitapu Group with strong brands such as Stanley St, Hyper, Culture, Tātou, School Road Publishing, Wisely, Rutherford Consulting, Pitch Me and Film 360 as part of the whanau makes for a rich business offering to clients,” Faafoi said.

Dialogue22’s range of services include Government and stakeholder relations, strategic media advice, crisis management, media management, and high level media training.

“We know how Government works at the highest level. We know why and how journalists ask questions and we know how to be ready to answer them,” Faafoi said.

“We work with clients to get their perspectives ready to be in front of decision-makers, the public and the media.

“Our decades of experience at the highest level of government and media gives us unique perspectives and insights to shape, create and influence conversations. We get the dialogue moving.
